Thriving On Social Media As an Artist, Artisan or Creative
Ever feel like social media is not for artists and creatives? Does it take up too much headspace with too little results? Do you struggle to come up with ideas for what to post? Does it cause anxiety? Not sure we even need it?
Then you'll love this book. Written by two creatives who have helped global brands with their large social media platforms as well as small, local businesses to get started, we speak to many who struggle with this. Here we have poured all our learnings over the past few years into a helpful and reassuring guidebook full of ideas.
Like a chat with a knowledgeable friend, this little book will guide you through the challenges that many artists and artisans, creatives and creative entrepreneurs face as they try to make social media work for their business.
Less of a how-to-guide (we can all use google for the basic stuff), more of a recipe book that helps you develop your own strategies for success, have a supply of ideas for what to post and hopefully results in making this seemingly unavoidable part of our professional life more fun and rewarding.
We tried to avoid anxiety-inducing marketing lingo, some behind the scenes info, and made this format bite-sized so that you can dive in and out as you need it.
Who this is for:
Anyone who needs to use social media for their own art or creative business with a goal to making a sustainable living (but kind of wishes they didn’t have to) and willing to put in a measure of work. If you feel like giving up on posting online, this may help.
Who this is not for:
Complete beginners who need help signing up and setting up a basic account (do this first) and anyone hoping to make it big on TikTok.
(Note: we’re focusing mainly on Instagram, Threads and a little Facebook and YouTube for the more practical part of the book, as this is where most of our expertise lies).
This is the 2nd edition. We'd love to hear your feedback so we can make the next version even better!
Thanks :)
You'll get a 50-page pdf ebook with ideas and strategies on how to survive social media as an artist or creative.
